Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal according to §§ 312 b), c) and g) in conjunction with § 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB).


1. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken or has taken possession of the goods.

In the case of a contract for several goods that the consumer ordered as part of a single order and that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken or has taken possession of the last goods. by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

For a particularly quick and easy withdrawal, you can use the electronic withdrawal function directly on our website: simply click on the "Withdraw from contract" button in the footer, fill out the short form and send it. However, using the online button is not mandatory.

2. Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You shall send back or hand over the goods to us

without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

In the event of a valid withdrawal, we shall bear the usual costs of returning the goods (by post) for shipments within Germany. If we have shipped the ordered goods to a location outside Germany in accordance with the contract, the customer shall bear the costs of the return shipment.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

3. Notes:
We point out that a statutory right of withdrawal does not exist for the following contracts:

Contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual statement or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer. (e.g. Storchenwiege® baby wrap in a length deviating from the standard lengths)

4. Further notes:
a) To facilitate returns (within Germany), you can contact our customer service by email at info@storchenwiege.de or by phone at +49 3437 9359980 and request a Freeway ticket, which you can use for a free return (this only applies to returns within Germany; outside Germany, the buyer bears the return costs). The use of a Freeway ticket is voluntary, and shipping by post is also possible as an alternative. However, we kindly ask you to refrain from unpaid returns of goods within the scope of your right of withdrawal. Please note that if you choose an unnecessarily expensive shipping method, a claim for payment of the difference to a return by post may arise.

b) We hope for the understanding of our international customers that we cannot reimburse the costs for a return from abroad, regardless of the value of the goods.

c) We also want to point out that if goods are returned without original packaging and instructions, you may have to pay compensation for lost value. Therefore, please keep the original packaging and instructions until you have decided to exercise your right of withdrawal. However, this is not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.

d) We also want to point out that we only accept returns of goods in unused condition, unwashed and in original packaging with instructions.
