1. General Information and Mandatory Disclosures

Data Protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.

We point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by email) can have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Information on the Responsible Party
The responsible party for data processing on this website is: Storchenwiege® GmbH & Co. KG
Goethestraße 10 04668 Grimma

Phone: +49 3437 9359980
E-mail: info@storchenwiege.de

The responsible party is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, etc.).

Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. An informal message by email to us is sufficient for this. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Online Revocation Procedure (Revocation Button)

1. Description and Scope of Data Processing
On our website, we provide consumers with an electronic function for declaring a revocation (so-called "revocation button" according to § 356a BGB). If you make use of this option and revoke a contract via our website, the data you enter in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored.

This data necessarily includes:

First and last name
Contract data (e.g., contract number, customer number, or order number)
Your email address (for sending the legally required confirmation of receipt)

At the time the revocation is sent, the current date and time of transmission are also logged to prove timely receipt of the revocation. Data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the processing of the contract reversal or for fulfilling legal obligations (e.g., transmission to our email service provider for sending the automatic confirmation email).

2. Legal Basis for Data Processing
The processing of this data is based on:

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (fulfillment of a legal obligation), as we are legally obliged to provide consumers with an electronic revocation procedure and to confirm the receipt of the revocation immediately by electronic means.

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (fulfillment of contract or implementation of pre-contractual/contractual measures), as the data processing serves the proper reversal of the affected contract.

3. Purpose of Data Processing
The processing of the data from the input mask serves exclusively to process and assign your revocation and to fulfill our legal verification and confirmation obligations.

4. Duration of Storage
The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. After the complete reversal of the contract, the data will be blocked for further use and deleted after the expiry of tax and commercial retention periods (generally 6 to 10 years after the year of contract termination according to § 257 HGB and § 147 AO), unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data. The logging of the date and time of the revocation will be deleted as soon as the statutory limitation periods for any legal disputes have expired (generally after 3 years at the end of the year).

Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of violations of data protection law, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection issues is the State Data Protection Commissioner of the federal state in which our company is headquartered. A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found at the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the address line of the browser changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

If, after concluding a fee-based contract, there is an obligation to transmit your payment data (e.g., account number for direct debit authorization) to us, this data is required for payment processing.

Payment transactions via common payment methods (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are exclusively carried out via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the address line of the browser changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

With encrypted communication, your payment data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this and for further questions on the topic of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.

2. Data Collection on Our Website

Cookies
The internet pages sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you desire (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically flawless and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data will not be merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact Form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered into the contact form thus takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message by email to us is sufficient for this. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Processing of Data (Customer and Contract Data)
We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content design or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We only collect, process and use personal data about the use of our internet pages (usage data) insofar as this is necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it.

The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

Data Transmission upon Conclusion of Contract for Online Shops, Retailers and Shipping of Goods
We only transmit personal data to third parties if this is necessary within the framework of contract processing, for example to companies entrusted with the delivery of goods or the credit institution commissioned with payment processing. Further transmission of data does not take place or only if you have expressly consented to the transmission. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Videos
Our pages contain a social plugin that allows you to view content from YouTube. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The function of this social plugin is deactivated by default to ensure you have full control over your data. A connection to YouTube's servers is only established when you activate the display of YouTube content. You must give your consent for each video individually.

Please note that as providers of the pages www.storchenwiege.de, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by YouTube.

Overview and origin of the activatable social plugins: Social plugins from YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave. San Bruno, CA 94066 USA. You can find YouTube's privacy policy at: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Facebook Pixel
Our website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") for conversion measurement.

This allows the behavior of page visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook data usage policy (https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/). This allows Facebook to enable the placement of advertisements on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. We, as the site operator, have no influence on this use of data.

The use of Facebook Pixel is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures including social media.

Further information on the protection of your privacy can be found in Facebook's data protection notices: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You can also deactivate the "Custom Audiences" remarketing function in the ad settings section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. You must be logged in to Facebook to do this.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can disable usage-based advertising from Facebook on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Google Analytics
This website uses the "Google Analytics" service, offered by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), to analyze user website usage. The service uses "cookies" - text files that are stored on your device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization is used on this website. The IP address of users is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This shortening eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. Within the framework of the agreement on order data processing that the website operators have concluded with Google Inc., Google Inc. uses the collected information to evaluate website usage and website activity and provides services associated with internet usage.

You can prevent the storage of the cookie on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. It is not guaranteed that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies. Furthermore, you can prevent the data collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to and used by Google Inc. by installing a browser plugin. The following link leads to the corresponding plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
